This is a wall unit that was built in December 2003. It was
built using oak wood with a lot of drawer storage. It has a total of 12
drawers and 9 doors. The upper doors on the piers are a combination of wood
and Lexan plastic. Lexan is sort of like plexiglass.
The four glass shelves in this unit had a fiber optic effect that I used
on them. I cut a dado in the back glass support. When the light was put back
there, it illuminated the back and but even better shown through the edge of
the glass.
The bed also has two drink trays. These pull out from above the drawers.
On this particular project I inlayed a piece of ceramic tile.
