Corner Double Pedestal Desk

This is a desk that was completed in March 2009. It is a two pedestal corner desk with a hutch. The right pedestal has a standard file drawer with two regular box drawers and then a CPU storage section added the side. The left side has two lateral file drawer. On all the file drawers I make my own hanging file system by grooving out the drawer sides. On the lateral files I made the back support adjustable so that it could fit legal or standard file folders.

It also has a keyboard tray with a flip up door. I used to connect the front on the tray or below tray. Lately I’ve been attaching the front above the tray opening. I like this setup because it hides the space behind the keyboard when it is open . Another pull out that I incorporated into this piece is additional work surfaces that pull out from each of the pedestals.

The hutch has 6 doors, built in three sections. I originally planed on making it straight across the top, but at the last minuet I decided to raise the center section and bring the crown all the way around. One request from the customer was to keep the work surface open. So on the hutch I turned the two middle supports 90 degrees. This kept them on the back edge.

These units do break down to vary manageable units, but are still too large for UPS. We do ship on large freight lines to your house. You will be responsible for getting it in the house. We will ship to anywhere in the Continental United States to your front door for $299. Some restrictions apply. Request a quote for more information and exact shipping charges.

Shipping outside the US call for quotes.

We ship using a "Home Delivery" option with the freight lines. They will schedule the drop of time and date with you once you receive it. Because of the weight you'll need help getting your furniture off the truck and into your house. Note: drivers are not required to help you in the house. If you need lift gate service, let us know that can be arranged. The additional charge is around $95.

When you receive your items. Check all boxes for damage and MAKE SURE TO NOTE ON FREIGHT BILL if there is any. We will help you with filing damage claims.

We take all major credit cards and money orders. Since these beds are custom built our payment options are as follows:

20% down for scheduling.
50% due before actual build starts
Balance due upon shipping, delivery, or pick-up.
If paying with credit card, we only require 20% down to schedule your furniture.
