Boat Bed

This is just one of many boat beds we design.  We've built anything from pirate ships to a queen size yacht. This one features removable toy box bow, lighted headboard, 6 drawer under-bed dresser, and portholes.   A common feature is to replace the drawer unit with a trundle.  These boats start out at $1200.  The oak one shown with the 6 portholes is $2275. see http://poggyskids.com/woodboat.htm for more information.

Train Bed

All Aboard!  This custom design train bed will make you child jump track.  It is similar to our original Train Bunk bed without being a bunk.  It features: a  working light w/3 stage touch sensor, storage compartment under bed, and custom graphics where we'll put your child's name on it (example: Little Johnny Express).  Not featured here but we can even put in a working smoke stack.  The overall size is: 46"w x 97"l x 79"h

and fits a twin size mattress.  As shown $1200.  Go with this design or let us design a custom one using you ideas and colors.

Locker Room Murphy Wall Bed

This is a Murphy bed that was ordered by a customer to commemorate the old Yankee stadium. It was completed on October 1, 2008. Notice the façade shown at the top when the bed is open. When closed it is built to resemble five lockers. The middle three are non-working and attached to the bed. They come down with the bed when it is open. The other two are working bookcases. In these bookcases the customer chose to have a couple drawer and adjustable shelves.  Not a Yankee's fan, no problem, we'll design one for your favorite team.  For more Murphy bed designs see http://www.wwbeds.com/murphy.htm

Special Edition Baseball Bed

This is a version of our popular Baseball bed.  It comes from our Special Edition line and I customized it a little more then normal.

On this bed, like our other baseball beds, the child get to help us customize the headboard. They fill out a form with the team names, the score, the stadium name, and their name. Usually I use authentic Louisville Slugger Signature bats, but this time the customer chose one of Louisville’s Pro Stock series called Hornsby. This is the same grade bat that the professionals use.

I then matched the wood type, which is Ash, and the color. All the information that the customer sent to us I had routed into the wood, but only after the finish was applied. This exposed the natural wood and made the cut sections lighter. The original plan was to paint the letters and numbers gold to match the bats, but after it was cut and loved the result of the natural ash, we decided that the gold would just cheapen the look of the bed.

This bed has a trundle and drawers under the bed and a matching nightstand.

Corner Desk

This is a two pedestal corner desk with a hutch. The right pedestal has a standard file drawer with two regular box drawers and then a CPU storage section added the side. The left side has two lateral file drawer. On all the file drawers I make my own hanging file system by grooving out the drawer sides. On the lateral files I made the back support adjustable so that it could fit legal or standard file folders.

It also has a keyboard tray with a flip up door. I used to connect the front on the tray or below tray. Another pull out that I incorporated into this piece is additional work surfaces that pull out from each of the pedestals.

Bullock Murphy Wall Bed

This is a Murphy Wall Bed that was built for a specific customer.  It starts with our Bullock Murphy bed that has a solid raised panel front in maple.  The right bookcase has a fold down craft table and is connected to the bed with a custom corner desk.   The desk top has a laminate top picked by the customer and the finish of the entire unit is our standard cherry.

This layout was made for a specific customer and may not fit your needs.  Let us know what you require and we'll get a custom no-obligation quote for you.  We can do custom color, wood, and design. www.wwbeds.com/bullock.htm

Ross Murphy Wall Bed

This is a murphy wall bed that features a door style front and bookcases on the side.  The face is designed and built to resemble a armoire but folds down to revile a bed.  To dress this one up even more we added a couple bookcases on the side with pull out drink trays.  The Ross murphy bed is one of our most popular designs.  To see more go to www.wwbeds.com/murphy.htm

Pillar Entertainment Center

This is a custom entertainment center that was built for an out-of-state customer. A lot of work went into this one with it’s elaborate details, like the detailed molding and the arched top with the raised panel look.  The post on this project were hand made.  The lower outside doors were coved in speaker grill material to hid surround sound speakers.  The light work on a 3 stage touch sensor.  The unit also has lots of CD/DVD storage.

It was custom made for the customers specific size TV, let us design one to fit your needs. See http://www.wwbeds.com/Entertainment.htm

Convertible Changing Table

This is a changing table that was built for a customer. They wanted something that could “grow” with the child and be used when the child was older. To do this we stayed away from the traditional changing table style and came up with this one. We made it to where the frame that holds the changing pad could be removed and be used a type of dresser later on.

The color looks like a black but is actually a very dark dye stain base followed by a standard wiping stain and then two coat of lacquer.
