Option 2:  Alpine pre-cut boards $749 (Shipping extra send quote for more details)

This option includes all the following:

  • (A) the 12 pieces that make up the inner wood frame.  The 5 sets of ribs will already be fastened together in a "L" support.  You will assemble them together into a frame
  • (B) two side rails with the pivot and t-nut holes drilled and the pivot bracket and lower plate mounted
  • (C) Foot rail
  • (D) Head rail
  • (E) Two Bed Face Panels with a scored line down the center to make it look like four doors.
  • (F)  Bed headboard with pocket screw holes and hardwood bisket slots cut.
  • (G)  Bed Cabinet Verticals cut with all the holes cut and the hardware mounted.
  • (H)  Bed header  (5 pieces)
  • (I)  Wooden Legs (4 pieces)
  • (J)  Plywood pre-cut.
  • All the necessary hardware and  screws needed to build
  • All necessary edges will be veneered in matching hardwood

Labor already completed for you!

   Cut and rip 32 pieces

   Edge band 16 edges

   Assemble inner frame, just the horizontal pieces into a "L" shape (A)

   Drill 5/8 Hole and 3-1/4 hole in each side rail

   Cut a clean square cut-out for the legs assemble to pass ( I do it with a jig so that it is clean and straight)

   Drill 2-5/8" holes, 3-1/4" holes, 1-3/8" hole in verticals (I also add biscuit slots to hold headboard, not in original instructions)

   Cut biscuit slots and pocket holes in headboard (this is not in original instructions, but added it to make it easier to assemble)

This labor could take the better part of a weekend (15-20 hours) for a first time builder and all those holes must be accurate.

Side coped for base molding, Banded, and all holes drilled and hardware mounted. Front panel banded, and holes cut for legs. All header board cut, banded, and light holes cut if needed. all board are cut, banded, machined, and ready for finish.
