Spring Mechanism Only

The advantage of the spring system is it's fast and simple to build.  With this kit you receive not only the Spring lift system and legs, but you receive the frame as well.  This saves you time because it isn't a component that you have to build.  The mechanism is a little more expensive but that is because the frame is included.  

 

The Original Murphy bed site sell hardware like this for $659.  (see site)  I have it starting at $499. That is a little more you can apply toward cost your lumber, right!
