Contemporary Murphy bed | Alpine
This is a Murphy bed that I finish up in April 2017. I call it the Alpin Murphy Bed.
The Alpine is characterized by four panel face doors on the front. We also put Bar Pulls as the handles, but if you look at all the designs I put different pair on each one I build. The customer can choose whatever pulls they’d like. I did not put any Murphy crown or base molding this one. This kept it a contemporary look. Adding base or crown molding can really change the look and is an easy way customize.
To open it just pull on the handles. It is very lightweight to open. It can hover in the half open position.
